Dr. Jure Rozman is the choir director and pianist of St. Paul Adult Choir. He cherishes sharing his musical experiences with members of the group and is very proud of their work.

 Jure is also a full-time music faculty and program manager at Broward College, where his duties include teaching piano, music theory and chamber ensemble. He also spearheads many of the department’s academic initiatives, community outreach and serves as the artistic director of the Rosemary Duffy Larson Classical Music Series.

Finally, Jure continues to be active as a concert pianist and avid chamber musician. Winner of numerous competitions and awards, he has performed extensively in Europe, the US, China, and Australia.

His prior service experience was as the organist/pianist at First Methodist Church in Hammond, LA from 2003-2009 and at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Gonzales, LA from 2002-2003.

Dr. Rozman holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from University Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Louisiana State University.

Originally from Slovenia, Jure came to the United States in 2001. His son Adam is an apple in his eye, a mechanical engineering student at the University of Central Florida and an exceptional human being.

Jure does not have a favorite Bible verse, but is awed by his favorite composer J.S. Bach’s pious devotion and the inscription Bach commonly used in his manuscripts: soli Deo Gloria!
