Pastor Scott Henze is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville on an R.O.T.C. scholarship where he received his commission in the US Army. Upon leaving Knoxville, he worked in the business world as owner / operator of an outdoor advertising company named Volunteer Outdoor.
Pastor Henze was always active in ministry and felt called to enter the seminary in 2012. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and was ordained on August 9, 2015. Since his ordination he has served at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Clinton, Mississippi, and now St. Paul Lutheran Church and Preschool in Weston, FL.
In 1997, Scott married his bride Kathy and together they have three children: Katie their oldest born in 2000 and twins, Alex and Ashley born in 2003.
Scott enjoys playing Golf and when time allows recreational scuba diving.
His lifelong verse is Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
