Esther Sampedro was born in Alicante Spain, where she later migrated with her family to the United States. Her educational journey began at the University of Florida where she earned a Bachelor degree in Journalism and Communications. With a military background in the Air Force Reserve, Esther continued her focus on journalism, which led her to work for various national and international newspapers, as well as, several magazine publications. Esther’s continued pursuit of professional journalism, earned her a job as a television Producer with PBS (WLRN) where she concluded her successful 15 year journey. It was during that time, that Esther met David, a broadcast television engineer and her future husband. With a family in mind, they received the blessing of their daughter Ashley, followed two years later with their son, Ian. In those early years of raising a family, Esther found her true calling, working with children. What started as a school presentation on environmental concerns, turned out to be an alternate career blessing. With the help of her husband, Esther launched a non-profit organization, “Kids for Mother Earth” educating children of all ages on what they could do as individuals to help protect Mother Earth. With a strong belief in education, love, and compassion, she published her first children’s book, “Mother Earth Needs Our Help”. She understood the importance that one could deeply nourish the creativity and imagination of young minds to spark the initiative to action. Since that time, Esther has been an Early Child Educator, Elementary and Middle School teacher. She is now blessed to be part of the St. Paul Family and is looking forward to be a continued positive influence in young minds.

Esther’s favorite bible verse: 1st Corinthians 13:4-5 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.”
